Marrakech desert tours 6 days

Following breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate and take a stroll through the High Atlas, passing close to the 2,260-meter-tall Tizi N'Tichka mountain, where charming towns are perched on the mountain's slopes. You can visit the location, which is recognised as part of Ait Ben Haddou's world heritage, and eat lunch there. (More than 20 films have used this well-known kasbah as a backdrop.) After breakfast, depart for Skura, where we will see the Wonder of the "Route of the Thousand Kasbahs of the South," Kasbah Amredhyle.The path next leads us into the rose valley, where we pause to see the amazing canyons of Kella M'Gouna Boumalane and Tinghir. We will have lunch at a neighbourhood eatery in the Todra Canyons, and we will have free time later to stroll through the "gorges." A wonderful evening at the lodging.

After breakfast, early morning departure to Erfoud. The Berber communities are dispersed across the route; we go via Tinjdad and Erfoud, where we will see the start of Tafilalet, the Saharan oasis, before arriving at Merzouga. Following some freetime, check in at your hotel in Merzouga and spend the night.

We will wake up early to begin our journey, walk to the village of Khamlia to enjoy live music performed by Gnawa and indulge in the nomads' way of life. Sip a hot tea under the Berber tents, and encounter a fresh perspective on life. Returning to the village for lunch, then we ride camels into the sand dunes in the afternoon. We are going to sleep in a bivouac after having dinner and enjoying the night show by nomads playing the drums.

Watch the desert dawn when you wake up in the morning.Ride a camel back to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to Tafilalet, the capital of the Alawite dynasty and the seat of the former Alawite sultans, the city of Rissani. Next, head towards the Draa Valley, the Tazarine and N'Kob oasis, and Alnif. We'll start serving lunch right now. You will have dinner and spend the night at Agdz, a Berber settlement.

Following breakfast, you will return to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N Tichka Pass. Finalisation of our services and transfer to the Riad.
